The Kamato-Taru Harvest Festival will gather makers of craft beer, gin, whisky, and other spirits from the Shonan area and across Kanagawa. The event will be held at the Gate Square outdoor area on the first floor of Terrace Mall Shonan on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, from 11:00 to 18:00. It may be canceled in severe weather, and drinks will be available while supplies last.
The participating breweries include Odawara Garage Brewing, Barbaric WORKS, Kamakura Beer, MacKenDy BREWERY, MIURA brewery, Kens Brewery, Yokosuka Beer, Home Ground Hop, and YGGDRASIL BREWING. The exact beer lineup will depend on the event, but visitors can expect a chance to compare beers from Odawara, Shonan, Miura, and other local brewing communities in one place.

Based in Sakaemachi, Odawara Garage Brewing is a local brewery rooted in the community. Its beers, normally enjoyed at the brewery in Odawara, will be available in an outdoor festival setting in Tsujido. Tasting them alongside beers from other regional breweries offers an easy way to compare aroma, bitterness, body, and overall brewing style.
The festival will also feature distilleries and craft-spirit producers, including Yokohama Gin Distillery, DISTILLERY TANZAWA BAR, SATOUSHI Bashamichi, Atami Distillery, and SHIRAHAMA DISTILLERY. Admission is free, but drinks require either the advance-purchase original tumbler or a rental tumbler available at the venue.
