The spring edition of OSHi BEER WEEK features FLORA FERMENTATION from Shiga

The 2026 second installment of “OSHi BEER WEEK” has kicked off at cedar mountain shop, a craft beer specialty store in Shimokitazawa, Setagaya, Tokyo. This time, the spotlight is on FLORA FERMENTATION, a microbrewery from Higashiomi, Shiga Prefecture. The event runs from Saturday, March 21 to Tuesday, March 31, and the format is a 4TAP TAKE OVER. During the period, four different FLORA draft beers will be available together.

The post introduces FLORA FERMENTATION as a brewery that champions “agriculture and fermentation,” cultivating hops in-house by tilling its own soil and even carrying out pelletizing on its own. That approach, connecting field to glass in a single flow, ties directly into the theme of this feature.

cedar mountain shop also explains that this monthly project grew out of its track record of stocking FLORA’s bottled and draft beers over time. This is not just a one-off guest tap; it is a TTO that reflects the relationship between the shop and the brewery. In addition, a giveaway campaign for customers who order FLORA beer is also planned, with details to be announced later.

Furthermore, on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, there will be a food pop-up featuring pani puri, an Indian street snack. It will be a weekend where you can try pairing craft beer with dishes that offer bright acidity and spice.

For anyone in Shimokitazawa who wants to taste not only the beer but also the brewer’s philosophy, this OSHi BEER WEEK is something worth checking out.
