TRANS BREWING BEER STAND, located inside HUG in Sapporo’s Chuo Ward, announced its guest beer lineup along with its Golden Week business hours. True to the shop’s casual standing-bar style, it will also offer a fuller food lineup during the holiday, operating in a way that is easy for tourists to use.

The beer being tapped in the first half of Golden Week is Nara Brewing’s `LIGHTHOUSE`. The post describes it as a micro porter and presents it as a beer that won gold at a world competition. It is also noted that it has already sold out, making it an easy beer to miss for fans of dark styles.

In the second half of Golden Week, Daisen G Beer’s `Weizenbock` is scheduled to go on tap. The post refers to it as a substantial beer with 7.5% alcohol by volume, so it should appeal to those looking for a fuller body. In addition, TRANS BREWING’s `German Suplex`, `Bakudo no Kyuju Kurofushi`, and `Twist and Shout` are also listed as higher-ABV beers, setting up the latter half of the holiday with a lineup built for serious drinking.

The business announcement says the shop will open at 3:00 p.m. from May 2 through May 6 during the Golden Week period. Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In addition, Brewers Day is scheduled for May 23, so there will be plenty to keep an eye on around TRANS BREWING’s taps even after the holiday.
