Located about a three-minute walk from Koshigaya Station in Saitama, Nomendo Brew Stand celebrated its third anniversary on August 4. The brewery opened in 2023 and obtained its brewing license in January 2024, becoming Koshigaya City’s first brewery. With a standing-style taproom, it has grown into a local craft beer spot with its own character.

In the Instagram post, the brewery introduced two anniversary beers:

- `KURETSU`
- A W-IPA.
- Last year it was listed at IBU 100; this year, the brewery says it increased the bittering hops and pushed the number to 110 on paper.
- It is a bitterness-forward beer made for the occasion.

- `KEISOU`
- An onion spice ale.
- The beer puts onion at the center, paired with cardamom.
- Nomendo describes it as a beer with gentle onion sweetness, fresh spice aroma, and enough lightness and depth to feel unlike a typical vegetable beer.
- Bottling is undecided, and it will be draft-only for now.

The name “Nomendo” reflects the brewery’s sharper, more individual approach. That idea comes through clearly in this anniversary lineup, which pairs a hop-driven IPA with a spice ale built around onion. The post also says the team is looking forward to celebrating at the anniversary event this weekend, making this a fitting moment for fans to stop in and see what the brewery has lined up.
