Magic Hour Kyodo is a beer pub in Setagaya, Tokyo, known for serving six taps of domestic craft beer alongside curry and spice dishes such as achar. In an Instagram post dated August 14, the bar highlighted a guest pour: Minoh Beer’s Kokusan Momo Weizen (Wase Ver.).

The beer is a weizen brewed with Arakawa peaches from Hakka Farm in Wakayama. Freshly harvested peaches are hand-pureed and used generously, while the weizen yeast contributes clove- and banana-like notes that layer with the fruit aroma. With 50% wheat malt, the beer is designed to feel soft on the palate, while keeping the sweetness in check so it still finishes like beer.

This first release in the series is the "Wase" peach variant, described as a more restrained, elegant expression with freshness and a clean aftertaste. Set against the bar’s spice-driven food menu, the fruit, malt, and aromatics should fit naturally together. For beer drinkers looking for a seasonal pour in Kyodo, this is one to note.
