OUR BREWING’s "Hoppy Hour" Cold IPA Newly Tapped at Magic Hour Kyodo
At the beer pub Magic Hour Kyodo in Kyodo, Setagaya, OUR BREWING’s "Hoppy Hour" (Cold IPA) has been newly tapped. In a March 16 post, it was introduced as a beer built on lager brewing methods with added dry hopping, and is said to feature a crisp finish and a strong hop presence.
In an Instagram post on March 16, Magic Hour Kyodo announced a new tap of OUR BREWING "Hoppy Hour". The style is Cold IPA.
The post explains that the beer is designed on a base of lager brewing, which is loved around the world, combined with modern dry hopping. In addition to the refreshing character associated with lager, the use of rice and glucose emphasizes dryness, aiming for a flavor that brings the hop character forward.
The brewery also notes that this beer won Gold at the International Beer Cup 2024. Some of the ingredients reportedly include Koshihikari rice from Fukui Prefecture and six-row barley malt from Fukui Prefecture.
