Follow-up on Lemon Ale
Main Schloss's official Instagram (hamamatsubeer) posted "Lemon Ale Part 2🍋🍋" on April 28. This time, it introduces the "yeast removal" process, and says it will continue posting updates through to completion.
A Beer to Watch
Lemon Ale is a limited-edition beer introduced as a collaboration with Renri Farm. The official website says it uses seasonal lemons and is carefully aged to bring out an even fresher, more refreshing aroma. In addition to this Lemon Ale, Main Schloss also offers four of its own brewed beers: Weizen, Alt, Schwarz, and Helles.
A Dish to Pair with the Beer
The food focuses on German dishes that pair well with beer, such as Schweinshaxe, German sausages, and beef stewed in beer. From fruity Weizen to rich Alt and crisp Schwarz, the lineup makes it easy to pair food while tasting the beers side by side.
Atmosphere of the Restaurant
Main Schloss is a brewery restaurant with a building inspired by a German castle, a spacious courtyard, and a fountain. The interior uses lighting and tableware brought in from Germany, creating the atmosphere of an authentic beer hall. It is a place suited to those who want to leisurely enjoy house-brewed local beer and food in Hamamatsu.
