Oarai Brewery Heads to an Aquarium Event

According to a notice from Beach Culture Brewing owner and brewer TOMO, the brewery will be setting up at 'Utageyo ~SAKE Meguri Night~' to be held at Aqua World Ibaraki Oarai Aquarium on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Accordingly, the Oarai brewery shop will be open until 4:00 p.m. that day.

Sake, Tickets, and What You Can Enjoy at the Event

According to the official announcement, 'Utageyo' runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (last admission at 7:00 p.m.). The general ticket (3,100 yen) includes four tasting tickets, and there is also a ticket with an appetizer plate (3,900 yen). This event is designed so guests can enjoy sake, plum wine, wine, and beer across categories, and Beach Culture Brewing will participate as the beer brewer.

As for the beer, the aquarium's announcement describes it as "a light, easy-drinking flavor that brings out the ingredients' natural character", so visitors can likely look forward to a clean craft beer experience that feels true to the brewery. Note that the post does not specify the exact beer name to be served that day.

The Shop's Character and Location

Beach Culture Brewing is a brewpub located on the first floor of Oarai Seaside Station. Its appeal lies in being near the port, where you can enjoy a drink along with the local atmosphere. In addition to serving beer at the taproom, the brewery also has a presence at events. This time, it is a day that shifts the stage from 'drinking at the shop' to 'meeting at the venue.'

If you plan to attend the event, it would be smoother to adjust your visit time at the brewery earlier in the day.
