Five beers from across Japan tapped for March 17 at I's Public Ale House
The beer pub I's Public Ale House in Chatan, Okinawa, has announced its draft beer lineup for March 17, 2026. Featuring Minoh Beer’s pale ale, Iwate Kura Beer’s oyster stout, and Ushitora Brewery’s peach Weizen Bock, five beers with distinct personalities are on offer. Entry is limited to groups of four or fewer as an infection-control measure.
At I's Public Ale House in Mihama, Chatan Town, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture, the draft beer lineup for March 17 has been announced. As expected from a shop that focuses on craft beers from across Japan, this time too the selection spans both regions and styles. Please note that the store guide states that, as an infection-control measure, groups of more than four people are not permitted to visit.
The beer to watch this day is first Minoh Beer (Osaka Prefecture)’s Pale Ale (Minoh Pale Ale Cask). While showcasing the high level of polish that defines a standard beer, its fruity hop aroma and firm bitterness make it easy to pair with both the first drink of the day and with food.
For the dark side, Iwate Kura Beer (Iwate Prefecture)’s Oyster Stout (Iwate Kura Oyster Stout Cask) is on tap. An Irish-style beer made with shell-on oysters, it is characterized by roasted malt-derived coffee-like flavors and a rich mouthfeel.
On the lighter side, there is Izu no Kuni Beer (Shizuoka Prefecture)’s Weizen (Izu no Kuni Beer Hefeweizen). With the soft texture of wheat malt, it is designed to emphasize aroma while keeping bitterness low. It is an easy beer to share even with craft-beer beginners.
In addition, Ushitora Brewery (Tochigi Prefecture)’s RANKAKU CHU-I / Peach Weizen Bock is a distinctive high-alcohol release at 9% ABV, made with peach. Also appearing is SanktGallen (Kanagawa Prefecture)’s Sakura (SanktGallen Sakura), covering a seasonal beer with a sakura mochi-like feel using cherry blossoms and leaves.
From classic pale ale to oyster-driven stout, and on to fruit- and spice-forward limited editions. This is a tap update that gives craft beer fans an easy chance to compare a wide range of styles in a single venue.
