Onaji Ana no Mujina Introduces Three Domestic and International Taps, Including a Hazy IPA
At the craft beer pub Onaji Ana no Mujina in Kobe's Sannomiya, craft beer selected by the owner is served on tap. In this post, three labels from BREAK EDGE BEER WORKS, OPEN AIR BREWING, and Brasserie du Bas-Canada were lined up, and the hop-forward lineup stood out.
Onaji Ana no Mujina, in Kobe's Chuo Ward Sannomiya area, is a beer pub where you can enjoy domestic and international craft beer on tap. As its name suggests, it has the feel of a hidden retreat where people with the same interests naturally gather, and it is known for its curated tap list of beers only from breweries the owner genuinely likes.
The taps introduced in this post were all three beers with clearly different styles.
- BREAK EDGE BEER WORKS (Hiroshima) / Wait / Hazy IPA / 7.5%
- OPEN AIR BREWING (Hyogo) × TOWER RECORDS SHIBUYA / Listen To The Music / West Coast IPA / 6.5%
- Brasserie du Bas-Canada (Canada) / Tout Va Très Bien Madame La Marquise... / Quadruple IPA / 11.3%
"Wait," the Hazy IPA, is a beer centered on hop aroma and juiciness. "Listen To The Music" that follows is built for the crisp bitterness and dry finish typical of a West Coast IPA, while the final beer, "Tout Va Très Bien Madame La Marquise...," stands out for its heavy-hitting strength as an 11.3% Quadruple IPA. The lineup lets you enjoy a wide range, from light and brisk to rich and intense, all in one place.
The shop is located in an easy-to-reach spot from Sannomiya Station, and it is described as having an atmosphere that makes it easy to drop in alone. Its flexible policy of allowing outside food is another welcome point for people who want to focus on the beer. Even from the tap lineup alone, it comes through clearly that this is a place for enjoying the question of "what should I drink today?"
