Ghost Town and Pure Project New Arrivals at Maruho Sake Store Kujo Main Branch
The beer pub Maruho Sake Store Kujo Main Branch in Kujo, Osaka announced in a March 3 post that it had received new arrivals from two notable California breweries. In addition to a diverse lineup of IPA styles from Ghost Town Brewing and Pure Project, a pre-closing "last one sale" has also started in-store.
In an Instagram post published on March 3, the beer pub Maruho Sake Store Kujo Main Branch in Kujo Minami, Nishi Ward, Osaka City announced new arrivals from California. This time the focus was on Oakland's Ghost Town Brewing and San Diego's Pure Project.
According to the post, Ghost Town Brewing has brought in IPA, Double IPA, and, unusually for the brewery, a Hazy. The lineup is defined by a solid West Coast structure built around crisp bitterness and aroma, with a range that makes side-by-side tastings easy.
Pure Project arrived with a broad selection ranging from juicy IPA to a light and refreshing Citrus Blonde Ale. It is a lineup that offers choices both for people who want to enjoy hop-forward aromatics and for those who want something easy to sip alongside a meal.
The same post also announced the craft beer-only "Last One Sale" (the final bottle gets 10% off at the register). It is a chance to dig through the bottles left at the end of the shelf and discover a beer you would not normally reach for.
Kujo Main Branch’s appeal is that it lets customers move between a bottle/can lineup strengthened by its retail side and standing-drink service. On the west side of Kyocera Dome, it is an easy place to build anything from a quick drink to a longer tasting session. If you are chasing the clean bitterness of the West Coast style, this new arrival is worth checking out.
