Monterey Brewing, a craft brewery based in Shiojiri, Nagano, has announced its participation in Iida Drunk Fest 2026 Autumn Edition.

The event will be held on October 17, 2026, from 11:00 to 20:00, and October 18 from 9:00 to 17:00 at I-Park, the multipurpose plaza directly beside Iida Station. Brewers and beverage producers from across Nagano will gather at the venue, offering craft beer alongside cider, wine, and sake.

Iida Drunk Fest was created to showcase the drinks and food culture of southern Nagano. In addition to the beverage booths, the 2026 autumn edition is scheduled to feature local food vendors serving items such as lamb skewers, fried chicken, crepes, and other snacks. Admission is free, while drinks and food are purchased separately at each booth. Discounted advance drink tickets are also available.

For Monterey Brewing, the festival provides an opportunity to introduce beers from Shiojiri to visitors in Iida. With multiple Nagano breweries participating, attendees can compare different brewing styles and regional expressions in one location while pairing the beers with local dishes.

Additional city events, including the Minami-Shinshu Lion Dance Festival and the Apple Street pedestrian event, are scheduled for October 18. Visitors can therefore combine a day of beer and food at Iida Station with a broader taste of the area’s autumn culture.
