Nekono Shukaijyo, a craft-beer and spice-food pub about 30 seconds from Umegaoka Station, will receive `TIMMUR` from Nara Brewing on Wednesday, June 17. According to the post, the beer will go on sale in cans first, and draft service will begin once a tap becomes available. It is a fitting setup for a bar that also sells canned and bottled beer to drink on site or take home.

`TIMMUR` is an amber lager brewed with timur, a Nepalese pepper. The beer was created through a collaboration between `Nara Brewing` and `OLD NEPAL TOKYO` in nearby Goutokuji. The post describes it as bright and peppery, with amber malt depth and a crisp lager finish. That makes it an easy match for spiced dishes, while still being distinctive enough to stand on its own.

The bar’s appeal is its mix of draft craft beer and spice-forward food. For June only, it is also running a happy hour Monday through Friday from 15:00 to 19:00, with 10% off all draft beer. The tap list currently includes `RiCE LAGER` by CRAFTROCK, `つなぐビール` by BAEREN, `Foeder Sour Vintage 2024` by AJB, `Italian Style Pils!?` by Shiga Kogen, `HOP LEGENDS` by West Coast Brewing × 鬼伝説, and `Moon Calendar` by NOMCRAFT. The lineup shows a wide range of styles, from lager and sour beer to hazy IPA, making Nekono Shukaijyo a solid stop for beer drinkers in Umegaoka.
