The beer pub Craft Beer 2mugi in Kanda-Izumicho, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, has announced its draft lineup for April 29. On the holiday, it will be open from 14:00 to 23:00. It is also a convenient spot, with Akihabara Station about a 5-minute walk away, making it useful for everything from daytime drinking to a late-night pint.

There are six taps on this day.

- TAP1 `Submarine Forest` / Sea Weed Saison (Yorocco Beer)
- TAP2 `Natsumikan & Ginger` / Belgian Ale (Songbird Beer)
- TAP3 `The American IPA` (Shiokaze Brew Lab)
- TAP4 `Arctic Tern` / Hazy Double IPA (Inkhorn Brewing)
- TAP5 `Torahachi Bakushu` / Oolong Lager (Yatsugatake Beer × Taihu Brewing)
- TAP6 `Morning Coffee Stout` / Stout (Baird Beer)

Looking at the lineup, the range of flavors is clear: a Belgian ale with citrus, a classic American IPA, a hazy Hazy Double IPA, a lager made with oolong tea, and a coffee stout. TAP1, which evokes oceanic notes, is explicitly paired by the bar with its recommended dish, seared red sea bream sashimi, giving the sense that the lineup was put together with food pairings in mind.

On the food side, the bar is also promoting a limited first-come, first-served run of soupless tantanmen, and it has posted a preview for a Noro Brewing TTO event on May 5. What stands out about 2mugi on this day is that you can look beyond just beer tasting to meals and even the next event.
