Okayama Forest Park German Village in Akaiwa, Okayama, will hold a two-day fireworks event called “Forest Music Festival.” The dates are Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, October 11. In addition to the fireworks, visitors can enjoy stage performances and food stalls across the park.

The main attraction is the fireworks display from 7:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., with about 3,500 shells lighting up the autumn sky. The event is designed as a music-and-fireworks experience, making it a strong fit for a park known for leisure, local food, and craft beer. For craft-beer fans, the setting adds another layer: this is the Akaiwa area associated with Yoshii Kogen Beer, where food, scenery, and seasonal events come together naturally.

The festival runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on both days. It will proceed in light rain, but may be postponed in severe weather. If postponed, the September 26 event moves to October 3, and the October 11 event moves to October 17. Parking is limited to the first 1,500 cars, and congestion is expected before and after the fireworks. Visitors arriving by tour bus or large vehicles are asked to contact the park in advance. Dog owners are also advised to be careful during the launch because of the loud noise.
