Magic Hour Kyodo in Kyodo, Setagaya, has added Nara Brewing’s guest beer, TIMMUR, to its taps. The post introduces it as a "Now on Tap" release and highlights it as this year’s TIMMUR served on draft.
TIMMUR is an amber lager brewed with timur, a Nepalese pepper. According to the post, this is the third year of the collaboration with the modern Nepalese restaurant OLD NEPAL TOKYO. The beer was brewed while the restaurant was preparing to relocate to Nepal after closing in February 2026. As an amber lager, it is described as balancing malt sweetness and hop bitterness, with a caramel-like character while staying crisp.
In the glass, TIMMUR shows a deep amber color and a citrus-like aroma from the timur. The flavor moves from a solid malt base to a firm bitterness, then leaves a subtle tingling spice on the finish. Magic Hour Kyodo is a beer pub where craft beer and spice-driven food can be enjoyed together, making this a natural fit for the venue’s style.
