On Sunday, April 5, Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. True to its identity as a brewpub in Honkomagome, Tokyo, the interior is centered on counter seating and standing room, and on normal days it offers only domestic craft beer across 10 taps.

That day, the shop will stage a "double popup" of food and goods. The food side is "Chili Chili Sunday", featuring two offerings side by side: chili con carne made with tomatoes shipped directly from Nagasaki, and plant-based chili beans made entirely from plant-derived ingredients. Chilled tomatoes are also planned. The goods side is "Souvenir shop POP-UP", offering hop-themed patches and T-shirt blanks.

The tap list for the day consists of the following 10 beers:

- Kohatu Pale Ale / NZ Pale Ale 5.5%
- (Running low) DH Red Ale / Dry Hopped Red Ale 5.5%
- Sauvin Belgo Brut / Dry Hopped Saison 7%
- Ryusui Sousou / Italian Pilsner 5.5%
- Yuzu Sour Saison 6%
- Black IPA a.k.a. Black Sheep Ale / Black IPA 7% (collaboration with Sanriku Beer)
- Komagome Brown / Brown Saison 6%
- Komagome Best Bitter / English Best Bitter 4.5%
- Belgian Hazy IPA a.k.a. White Sheep Ale / Belgian Hazy IPA 6.5% (collaboration with Sanriku Beer)
- Kurotobi #4 / Belgian Stout 7%

The lineup spans pale ale, saison, Italian pilsner, sour, IPA, bitter, and stout, making it easy to choose anything from a light first glass to a more substantial dark beer. As the name suggests, the shop keeps the casual feel of a "beer stand," while also layering in food and goods projects that feel distinctly like this place.

The shop is located at 1F Greenpia Honkomagome, 5-71-3 Honkomagome, Bunkyo Ward. It is closed on Wednesdays, open from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Upcoming events include a potato chip dog on April 11, a Komagome Batchiri Talk on April 17, and seasonal-ingredient tapas on April 25 and 26, so it is worth keeping an eye on the taproom's future programming as well.
