Umbrella, a beer pub in Osaka’s Sonezaki district, will open at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 19. The post highlights a basement pub setting and a rotating lineup designed for straightforward beer drinking rather than a single style focus.

The tap list for the day includes five beers with clear differences in profile:

- Kasumi / Shiga Kogen Beer (Nagano), Session Hazy IPA
- Setouchi Lemon Pilsner / Nagahama Roman Beer (Shiga), Lemon Pilsner
- Grapefruit Sour / Minoh Beer (Osaka), Fruit Sour Ale
- Draught Guinness / Guinness (Ireland)
- Kirin Lager / Kirin Beer (Japan), Lager

That lineup ranges from a hop-forward session hazy IPA to a lemon-driven pilsner, a citrusy fruit sour, classic Draught Guinness, and Kirin Lager. It is the kind of selection that works both for comparison drinking and for settling in with a familiar style at a basement beer bar.

The post also notes a beer ticket sold as the equivalent of six small pours of craft beer, priced at 5,800 yen. It can also be used for a Guinness pint at Underground Umbrella, is valid for six months from purchase, and will end once sold out.

Upcoming schedule notes include a closing day on Sunday, June 21 and Sunday, June 28, plus an umbrella RiB 10th anniversary party on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12.
