The Kanazawa City brewery, BREW CLASSIC, has announced that its directly operated shop, Taproom BREW CLASSIC, will be open every day from April 29 to May 10 during the Golden Week holiday period. It is normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but during this stretch it will be open daily from 13:00 to 21:00, making it easy to stop by during the holidays.

The new release introduced in this post is the Double IPA "Ain't Liquid". It has an alcohol content of 8%, uses Pilsner malt, and is hopped with Nelson, Riwaka, Mosaic cryo, and Columbus. BREW CLASSIC says this is the first beer in which they have generously used Nelson and Riwaka from Freestyle Hops. Its clear golden appearance gives way to stone fruit, pineapple, and an exotic tropical character, with a sweet hop flavor and substantial body.

At the taproom, you can drink draft beer or take cans home, and another plus is that you can enjoy it casually from one glass or one can. Snacks are also available inside, so the setup works equally well for stopping in for just one drink or for comparing several different beers. With the brewery being located near Kanazawa Port, it has the appeal of a place where you can feel close to the people making the beer, making it a good match for beer fans who want to experience the brewery's character on the spot.

BREW CLASSIC also mentions its World Beer Cup gold medal achievement, and the post again conveys confidence in its brewing expertise. If you're looking for craft beer in Kanazawa during the holiday period, this is one place where you'll want to note the taproom's opening hours alongside the new Double IPA.
