Beer shop Llama, a beer pub in Shimorenjaku, Mitaka City, Tokyo, announced a new tap opening on Instagram. The post explained that, due to supply and materials-related conditions, major-brand beers may be tapped irregularly in the future, and that those pours will be served in a blind challenge format with the manufacturer name and brand hidden.

The current TAP list spans a wide range, from sweet-tart smoothie sours to Hefeweizen, imperial sour, Irish red ale, West Coast IPA, imperial IPA, hazy IPA, and Irish stout. Specifically, the lineup includes Kanpai!'s 'Berry Berry Slope Acai Bowl Smoothie Sour,' Let's Beer Works' 'HEFE WEISSE' and 'TIMEFLOW Imperial Sour,' Uchoten Brewing's 'Excursions' and 'Jazz,' DD4D's 'Showstopper,' Shiga Kogen Beer's 'Kind of Gold,' open air's 'warm up,' and NORTH ISLAND's 'Gin ZY.'

Beer shop Llama is known as a place in the Mitaka Station South Exit area where you can drink while following changes on tap. A lineup like this, which crosses a range of taps with very different personalities while also including a deliberately unidentified pour, is the kind of setup that makes beer lovers want to take their time and really taste each beer. It is a noteworthy selection that could easily support a drinking flow that starts with a sweet sour, shifts to IPA, and ends with stout.
