Eguchiya Brewing to Join Sendai Craft Beer Festival 2026 for Three Days
Eguchiya Brewing in Kasumigaura, Ibaraki, will appear at Sendai Craft Beer Festival 2026 from August 14 to 16. The community brewery operates from a renovated former sake warehouse on the grounds of Kominka Eguchiya and brings Kasumigaura-themed beers to Sendai.
Eguchiya Brewing will take part in Sendai Craft Beer Festival 2026 from August 14 to 16 at Kotodai Park Ikoihiroba in Sendai. The festival runs from 11:00 to 21:00 on August 14 and 15, and from 11:00 to 20:00 on August 16.
Based in Kasumigaura, Ibaraki, Eguchiya Brewing is a community brewery set on the grounds of the guesthouse Kominka Eguchiya. It brews inside a renovated former sake warehouse, carrying forward a place that sold sake until the Taisho era. The brewery frames its beer around local history, culture, ingredients, and the people connected to the area.
Its lineup includes Sawano Fuji, Kasumigaura Yuzu Ale, Kasumigaura Blueberry Ale, and Kasumigaura Lager. The names themselves reflect the brewery’s focus on place and season.
