The beer pub Novel Craft in Chitose-Karasuyama announced that it would open at 6 p.m. on May 25. The post said snacks such as jerk chicken and nanban-zuke would also be available, creating a setup where guests can enjoy beer and food together.

The glass-pour offering for the day was kemker's 'Appel Wine no.03-2022.' This cider was aged for one year in oak barrels, and in addition to a light apple aroma, it was described as having aromas reminiscent of pineapple and lemon. Overall, it was introduced as dry and crisp on the palate.

The tap list included Garage × LHG's 'ADRENOCHROME,' Trap Door's 'Trap Door IPA,' Bellwoods' 'Grisette,' Cave D'occi's 'Sun Dance,' and three beers from the shop's namesake brewery, Novel Craft Brewing: 'Over Dub,' 'Wah,' and 'Sweep.' It also included Field Ales' 'Blend Pale,' making for a lineup that spanned styles from IPA to grisette and pale ale all at once.

The shop is on the second floor in Minamikarasuyama, Setagaya, Tokyo, making it a good spot for anyone who wants to take their time sampling a rotating lineup. It's suited to a night of snacking and comparing domestic and overseas draft beers side by side.
