On Sunday, August 16, The Beer Shop Hirakata city operated from 13:00 to 20:00 and presented the final draft lineup of its “Obon 2026” series. As a beer pub near Hirakata City Station, it offered a mix of everyday staples and imported classics that are easy to choose from depending on your mood.

The lineup featured Sapporo Brewery’s `Kurolabel`. The post notes that Kurolabel is rotated daily, with one to two fresh kegs opened each day and served in date order. The rest of the taps included Baird Brewing’s `Teikoku IPA`, Verhaeghe’s `Duchesse de Bourgogne`, Craftbank Brewery’s `04-Kolsh`, and Hirakata Beer’s `Session Citra White`.

From a standard lager to a hop-forward IPA, a Belgian classic, a crisp Kölsch, and a local Hirakata beer, the range makes it easy to build a first pint or a tasting session. For a station-adjacent stop at the end of Obon, this was a well-balanced board.
