Event

Beer Pub Ishii announced an Oofujitsubo live performance to coincide with Yomise-dori's "Wakuwaku Dai Kanshasai" on Sunday, May 24. It is a small beer pub on Yomise-dori at the border of Sendagi and Yanaka, and it operates around a rotating lineup of daily draft beers.

Beers on Tap That Day

The four beers listed in the post as the "starting lineup" were Onidensetsu Beer’s "Kinki Pale Ale," Sankt Gallen's "Shonan Gold," Chichibu Beer’s "Gentle Bear ~ORB London Bitter~," and Let's Beer Works' "Meow." With a pale ale, a fruit beer, a London bitter, and an IPA-style beer among them, it is a lineup that makes comparative tasting easy as a starting point for the event.

The Shop's Appeal

Beer Pub Ishii has four taps and keeps more than five kinds of kegs rotating at all times, so you can encounter a different pint every time you visit. The food menu is also broad, ranging from homemade pickles, fish-and-chips where you can choose the fish, sausages, and taco rice to Sunday-only Sunday roast, making it a good place for a solid meal before or after a live show.

It is a six-minute walk from Sendagi Station and within walking distance of Nishi-Nippori Station, making it easy to stop by along with the feel of the shopping street. Centered on beer, it seems like it will be a day typical of a neighborhood-rooted beer pub, where you can enjoy music and food in the same place.
