Brewpub Truth, a brewpub in Gotanda, updated its tap list dated April 13. Although the shop is still before the start of its own brewing operation, it offers a wide range of craft beers from Japan and abroad, and is also known for serving food such as mapo tofu rice and Utsunomiya gyoza.

Today's lineup

- STONE "IPA"
- KATASHINA BREWING "Gotanda Breath" (Scotch Ale w Chestnut) 7%
- DIEU DU CIEL! "Fenetre Sur Les Tropiques" (Pale Ale) 5% NEW
- DIEU DU CIEL! "Moralité" (American IPA) 6.9% NEW
- DIEU DU CIEL! "Solstice d'Ete Cerises" (Wheat Sour) 5.9%
- KATASHINA BREWING "Under the Dark, Gotanda Sky" (Grapefruit Session IPA) 4.5%

The highlight of the day is that, alongside STONE's classic IPA, two Gotanda-themed beers from KATASHINA BREWING are on tap. In particular, "Gotanda Breath" is a Scotch ale made with chestnuts, while "Under the Dark, Gotanda Sky" is a session IPA accented with grapefruit, and the two clearly differ in style.

DIEU DU CIEL! also contributes "Fenetre Sur Les Tropiques," a Pale Ale; "Moralité," an American IPA; and "Solstice d'Ete Cerises," a wheat sour. With two beers marked as newly arrived, the lineup ranges from light and easy-drinking to hop-forward.

The food staples are mapo tofu rice, Utsunomiya gyoza, potato chips, and smoked nuts. The menu makes it easy to match food to beer style, making this a convenient place to settle in for a drink in Gotanda. The 7th-anniversary campaign is also ongoing, with a raffle for anniversary goods and an announcement of 15-year-aged awamori koshu. Together with the tap list, it is a one-day menu that gives a clear sense of where the shop stands right now.
