Event Details

On Saturday, August 29, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (last order at 10:00 p.m.), ITOMA, a community space in Kumagaya’s Tsukuba district, will host “Iitoma de Chill Drinking.” Admission and exit are free, and visitors can move around the venue freely. If the weather cooperates, the outdoor area will also be lit up and arranged with tables, creating a beer-garden-like atmosphere.

Guest Brewery: Honjo Ginza Brewery

This edition welcomes Honjo Ginza Brewery, a brewpub based in Honjo City. The brewery’s owner, Naka, is a graduate of Kumagaya Nishi High School, trained outside the prefecture for five years, and opened the brewery in Honjo in 2021. At the taproom, guests can enjoy freshly brewed beer while looking at the brewing tanks, with up to seven beers available.

The event will serve craft beer made with local ingredients, along with dishes designed to pair well with beer. Non-alcoholic choices, including homemade ginger ale, will also be available, making the event easy to enjoy for both drinkers and non-drinkers.

Honjo Ginza Brewery is also a familiar name from Hoshikawa Yoichi. At ITOMA, just a three-minute walk from Kumagaya Station, the evening should work well for a quick after-work pint, a relaxed outing with friends, or a casual night out with family. Payment methods include cash, PayPay, and KumaPAY.
