Tap list for Aug. 9
Craft Beer Kitchen Kokoro no Tsuki, a beer pub in Miyakawacho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, opens at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9. In its Instagram post, the shop highlights a new tap from Hopkotan Brewing: Pollux. It is described as a modern IPA with tropical-fruit and berry aromatics, designed to drink cleanly and fit the season.
The day’s lineup includes six beers:
- Seapine Brewing: Blackberry Gose
- Flora Fermentation: Benfinita
- Hopkotan Brewing: Pollux
- Odawara Garage Brewing: Have a Tea
- Garden Path Fermentation: Ron's not Bitter
- Hopkotan Brewing: One Lap Behind Yuzu Ver.
The list mixes domestic and overseas breweries, and spans tart fruit-driven styles, a light IPA, and a yuzu twist. That range makes it a good stop for drinkers who want to compare different expressions across one session.
Food is another draw. The shop pairs beer with Chinese-style snacks such as steamed chicken with sansho and green onion sauce, fried eggplant with ginger soy sauce, mapo tofu, Shanghai-style fried noodles, shrimp mayo, and yodare wonton. It works both as a place for a quick pint and as a meal-oriented beer stop in the Noge area.
The post also notes a caution about the staircase handrail, so visitors should watch their step.
