Hyogo-based Bridge Beers Brewing announced the release of its new beer, Linger, on Instagram. In the post, the brewery highlighted a recipe using grated ginger and said it aimed to balance a clean, dry refreshment with a spicy heat.

In the context of craft beer, ginger beers often lean heavily on aroma, but Linger is also designed for drinkability on paper. The public specs are 4.2% ABV / 29 IBU. By keeping the alcohol content modest and setting bitterness at a medium level, it appears to be a well-balanced beer that should work both with food and on its own.

The post also includes a music reference: Cranberries / Linger. By linking the beer name to the song, the brewery seems to be presenting not just the liquid design, but the entire experience as a single work.

On the sales side, availability for 10L kegs and 15L kegs has been announced, with orders possible through the keg sales site and Best Beer Japan. For bars and restaurants, this makes it easy to slot into seasonal lineup changes or guest tap proposals.

The crispness derived from ginger, paired with a light ABV, should fit well with styles that see growing demand from early spring into early summer. As a new release from a Hyogo brewery, it is worth watching for when it shows up on tap lists.
