A dish centered on the flavor of mature chicken
T.S.Brewery・Yoi Tori, located on the basement first floor of Tokushima Station Clement Plaza, is a brewpub that champions "Yakitori x Craft Beer". According to official information, it serves Awaodori chicken, Ayadori, and mature chicken from Kagoshima Prefecture, grilling each item individually over charcoal.
On the Hot Pepper food page, one of the signature items is "Kagoshima Prefecture mature chicken thigh sashimi". It has the firm bite unique to mature chicken and a deep umami that spreads the more you chew, making it a dish with enough presence to stand up even when paired with beer. With rice dishes such as yakitori rice bowls, oyakodon, and charcoal-grilled Awaodori chicken set meals also available, the menu is easy to build around for a full meal.
The house-brewed beers are easy to compare
On the drinks side, the house-brewed beers are offered in a wide lineup. The list shown on Hot Pepper includes Shinmachi River Pale Ale, Indigo Ale, Mango White, Sudachi Honey, Salt Caramel Ale US, and Crazy Stout, and a rotating 5-beer tasting set is also available.
In addition, you can find REFLECTION -Sour Ale-, a collaboration between Awa Beer and Paddle Brew, as well as Azalea Ale ~ Yeast from Mount Bizan ~, brewed with wild yeast collected from the azalea on Mount Bizan. With directions ranging from citrus aroma and fruitiness to roasted notes and acidity, it is easy to try different pairings with the food.
A calm, convenient space in the station basement
Inside, the counter has noren curtains, and the table seating is also partitioned. It is easy to drop in alone and well suited to stopping by for just one drink in a short amount of time. Since it is located on the basement floor directly connected to Tokushima Station, the place clearly conveys the shop's character: enjoying freshly brewed craft beer while snacking on yakitori.
