The Good Wolf Brewery, based in Higashiyoshino Village in Nara Prefecture, introduced its 2026 autumn new releases on Instagram on September 11. The post presents a new lineup for the coming autumn season.

The brewery uses water from the surrounding mountains and focuses on beers that express the character of Higashiyoshino. Its official website currently lists 10 beers, including core products as well as limited and collaborative releases.

One of the featured beers is Wheatberry, a strawberry Weizen made with freshly harvested strawberries from Fujiwara Farm in Asuka Village. The brewery describes it as juicy yet lightly dry, with a refreshing finish. It is packaged in 330ml bottles and has an alcohol content of 5.0%.

Another notable beer is SAKURAGER, a German Pilsner made with aromatic essence extracted from Yoshino cherry leaves. Alongside the crisp drinkability expected from a lager, it offers a distinctive cherry aroma. It is also 330ml and 5.0% ABV.

The brewery’s broader lineup includes ROUROU, a pale ale infused with Yoshino cedar; Yuzubeer, a Belgian white ale made with local yuzu; and Kuro Wolf, a stout featuring roasted tea from Higashiyoshino.

Further details on the autumn releases, including availability, are available through The Good Wolf Brewery’s official Instagram and online shop. The new lineup offers another opportunity to explore how mountain water and locally sourced ingredients shape the brewery’s beers.
