NEIGHBOR, a craft beer pub in Nogata, Nakano, Tokyo, has added NOVORU’s “Kureru / Amber Ale” at 5% ABV to its tap list.
Kureru features a deep amber color and a toasty aroma from roasted malt. Notes reminiscent of dried fruit meet gentle sweetness and a firm malt body, while the finish remains light enough for easy drinking. It is suited both to slow sipping and to pairing with a meal.
The current lineup at NEIGHBOR includes eight draft beers: Uryu Style Lager from Moon and Sun Brewing, Zakkoku Weizen from Mugizakkoku Kobo, Pyracantha by VERTERE x NEIGHBOR, Tropical Splash from CRAFTROCK BREWING, Kyoto Brewing’s “Share” Coffee Brown Ale edition, 55KINGS from FILL BREWING, and Revision’s Single Track Theory. The selection spans lager, weizen, pale ale, gose, brown ale, golden ale, and IPA styles.
For food, the pub is featuring a Korean Style Pork Burger from October 13 through 16. Recommended dishes also include mushroom carpaccio and bacon tomato carbonara, offering several options for beer-focused pairings.
Located within walking distance of Nogata Station, NEIGHBOR works equally well for a solo drink at the counter or a relaxed meal at a table. Its rotating draft selection and seasonal, globally inspired food make it a destination worth checking for the latest pours.
