Novel Craft, a beer pub on the second floor in Minamikarasuyama, Setagaya, Tokyo, shared its latest tap update in this post.

The headline pour is La Brasserie de Blaugies / La Vermontoise, served By The Glass. The post describes it as a farmhouse ale made in collaboration with Vermont-based Hill Farmstead. It is a spelt-wheat saison, dry-hopped with Amarillo over the brewery’s standard saison base, giving it a bright citrus character and a spicy, crisp finish.

The bar also runs a weekday-only "Novel's Choice" pairing set, featuring Cave D’occi × Novel Craft / Reflection as the recommended beer of the week. The food set includes herb confit of beef tongue, potato salad with seared bacon and dill, and chikuwa with cream cheese and aonori. It is a beer-first lineup, but clearly designed with food pairing in mind.

The tap list shows a wide range, from pilsner and IPA to house beer:

- Kemkur / Coolship Pils
- Belwoods / Come What May Dry-Hopped
- Georgetown / Lucille IPA
- Cave D’occi × Novel Craft / Reflection
- Yorocco Beer / All You Need is Flowers
- Novel Craft Brewing / Sweep
- Novel Craft Brewing / Dubwise
- Novel Craft Brewing / Down Tempo

What stands out most is the balance between house-brewed beers and guest taps. Novel Craft keeps the focus on what is actually drinking well right now, which makes the update useful for anyone tracking the day’s best pours in Tokyo.
