Nagano Brewery to Release Limited Hazy IPA "Festival" for Its First Anniversary
Nagano Brewery in Nagano City will hold an anniversary festival starting on April 29, when it marks its first year in business. During the event, the brewery will serve a new Hazy IPA called "Festival," along with limited-edition glasses, bottle sales, and guest participation events.
NAGANO BREWERY (Nagano Brewery), which brews craft beer in Ojoji, Nagano City, will begin an anniversary festival to celebrate its first year in business. According to an Instagram post, the anniversary festival will run from April 29 to May 6, and the brewery plans to stay open throughout Golden Week without any days off.
The main highlight this time is a new product brewed especially for the anniversary festival, "Festival" (Hazy IPA). Sales begin on April 29, and bottle sales will also be available. The flowers on the label are said to be the Shinano Lip hop flowers of the brewery.
During the event, an anniversary-limited original glass will also be sold. It costs 1,000 yen, and with each purchase, one beer of your choice is included for free; from the second drink onward, everything is 500 yen. Only 100 original glasses will be available, so they may sell out early.
Nagano Brewery is based in Ojoji, Nagano City, and promotes a "circular BREWERY" model that makes use of hops and fruit trees from its own farm. By operating the farm and the brewery as one unit, it stands out for connecting ingredient production to beer making. As this brewery celebrates its first anniversary, attention is likely to focus on its first anniversary festival, which pairs a beer different from the regular lineup with an emphasis on the character of the local area.
The anniversary festival will also feature guest booth appearances and hands-on events on different days. Because opening hours vary by day, visitors should check the latest information before coming.
