Bak Brewery, based in Kitahorie, Nishi Ward, Osaka, has created its original bottled beer, "URAGIRI IPA." An Instagram post announced that the beer can be enjoyed at Urarobata and that it will be offered in limited quantities.

BAK says on its official website that it "brews and releases a new beer every week," and it is a brewery that has continued to make distinctive beers incorporating fruits, herbs, and spices, including its staple beer "Kujū." Within Osaka City, it operates not only from its brewing base in Horie, but also in Umeda, Doyama, and Shinsaibashi.

This "URAGIRI IPA" can be seen as another step in BAK's free-form recipe development. The post also says that OEM production of original beers is accepted, showing that the brewery is prepared to make bottled beers tailored to the plans of shops and brands. Rather than limiting itself to its existing lineup, BAK's approach of shaping beers to meet outside requests is another example of what makes the brewery distinctive.

For beer fans, it is intriguing to be able to taste an original bottled beer that reflects the brewery's character as it is. In addition to limited distribution, attention will also be on where it is served and how far its OEM offerings may expand.
