On May 16, a triple tap takeover featuring HINO BREWING, KYOTO BEER LAB, and FLORA FERMENTATION will be held at CRAFT BEER BAR IBREW Ebisu Ekimae. This is a special event to celebrate the release of the three breweries' collaboration beer, with a total of about 30 beers scheduled to be tapped at once. On the 16th, guest appearances from representatives of each brewery are also planned from around 3:30 p.m.
The venue, IBREW Ebisu Ekimae, is a beer pub in the STM Ebisu Building B2 in Ebisu Minami. While it is easy to drop by in the underground space near the station, its appeal lies in being able to take your time choosing from the draft lineup and comparing beers side by side. A tap takeover that lets you follow beers from multiple breweries at the same time offers plenty for beer lovers who want to check each brand's character and the differences in how the brewers work.
Also announced is an extension of the women-only course, available for May and June. It includes all-you-can-drink access to about 35 beers and various other drinks, plus appetizers, salad, fish and chips, and steak. The lineup is 3,000 yen for 2 hours or 3,500 yen for 3 hours, and it also accommodates birthday plates. It is a package that works well not only for the event day, but also as a beer bar for everyday use.
