A tasting tour of 14 Kanagawa breweries

Organized by KEY CORPORATION, operator of Kawasaki brewpub Kagiya Brewery (CAGHIYA BREWERY), together with HOTEL ARU KSP, KAWASAKI STYLE PARK 2026 featured breweries from Kawasaki, Yokohama, Yokosuka, Shonan, Odawara, and Yugawara.

The participating breweries were Mizonokuchi Brewing, CAGHIYA BREWERY, Tokaido BEER Kawasaki-juku Brewery, Yellow Monkey Brewing, TDM 1874 Brewery, Yokohama Brewery, LIBUSHI Bashamichi, Yokosuka Beer, WHITE DOG BREWING, Miura Peninsula Beer, Green Beach Brewery, Yggdrasil Brewing, Odawara Garage Brewing, and HUMANS BEER. Together, they created a rare opportunity to compare beers from across Kanagawa in one venue.

Beer, live music, and street culture

The beer booths surrounded a central stage, with a live food area and seating placed behind them. Free admission and unrestricted re-entry welcomed not only dedicated beer fans, but also guests visiting for music, dance, or a casual stop during their day.

Day one featured six live performances by five groups, including the brass band of local Takatsu Junior High School. On day two, 68 dancers from eight teams, ranging from fourth-grade elementary students to performers in their 40s, competed in a dance contest. FΛME took the top prize.

The event also reflected Kagiya Brewery’s community-focused approach. As a brewpub based in Minamikase, Kawasaki, the brewery combines locally rooted beer-making with an inviting place to eat and drink. By bringing together breweries that might otherwise compete for attention, KAWASAKI STYLE PARK offered a broader entry point into Kanagawa’s craft beer culture—one glass, performance, and conversation at a time.
