Early close on June 4
Beer Pub Ishii, the Japanese craft beer pub on Yomise-dori in Sendagi, said it will end service once the beer runs out on June 4. In its Instagram post, the shop explained that a keg had been kicked the day before and announced a fresh tap of Sanktgallen Golden Ale. The post also notes that 15 liters are available and that the beer will be served until it is gone.
Beer Pub Ishii is known for a constantly changing tap lineup of Japanese craft beer. Of its four taps, three rotate daily while Heartland Lager remains on draft. Because kegs are connected in the order they empty, the lineup changes from visit to visit. That makes the pub a reliable stop for drinkers who want to see what is pouring now, whether the style is lager, pale ale, porter, or imperial stout.
Food is normally part of the draw too: the menu changes with the day’s fresh ingredients, and Sunday roast is a recurring special. For this particular notice, however, the shop says it has no food service and asks guests to bring their own. Beer Pub Ishii will then be closed from June 5 through June 9.
