Six Japanese Craft Beers on Tap at Craft Beer 2mugi in Akihabara
Craft Beer 2mugi, a beer pub about three minutes from Akihabara Station, is serving six Japanese craft beers on draft. The current selection covers pale ale, Belgian wheat, English IPA, Kölsch-style ale, hazy IPA, and Märzen, with a seasonal food menu to match.
Craft Beer 2mugi in Akihabara is offering six fresh Japanese craft beers on tap, with doors open from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The early opening makes the pub a convenient stop for afternoon drinks as well as post-work pours.
Tap 1 features Cave D’Occci from Niigata with “Chimere / Borderless Pale Ale.” The pub notes that this beer is running low, so it may be worth prioritizing. Tap 2 is SONGBIRD BEER’s “Belgian Wheat” from Chiba, followed by Noroshi Brewery’s “THE GREEN MAN,” an English IPA.
Tokyo’s Kunitachi Brewery is represented by “1926,” a Kölsch-style beer, while Niigata’s Gangi Brewing contributes “SWOONY,” a hazy IPA. Completing the current draft lineup is DevilCraft Brewery’s “Teufelsrad,” an Oktoberfest-style Märzen. The next beer announced for the lineup is Katashina Brewing’s “AMBH,” an American Belgo brewed with herbs.
The pub is also serving a limited fresh Okinawan shikuwasa sour. Food specials include Aomori searobin sashimi and salt-roasted ginkgo nuts from Miyazaki, offering options for pairing with the rotating beer selection.
There is no cover charge, and both dine-in service and canned or bottled beer takeout are available. Solo drinkers, visitors, and craft beer newcomers are welcome, making Craft Beer 2mugi an approachable destination for exploring Japanese beer in the back streets of Akihabara.
