BiaMa Kitasenju Introduces Four Goses and Sour Ales You’ll Want to Drink on Hot Days
BiaMa Kitasenju posted on Instagram introducing three gose-style beers and one sour ale to match the season as the heat intensifies. Centered on citrus, pine, herbs, and salt, the four beers are available during business hours of 14:00 to 23:00 (L.O. 22:00).
BiaMa Kitasenju introduced four beers on Instagram centered on a “refreshing, crisp gose style” for days when the heat is intense. The shop is a beer pub in Senju, Adachi Ward, Tokyo, and can be introduced as a casual place to enjoy craft beer in the Kitasenju area.
The beers featured this time were Grimm’s “Super Spruce,” Long Beach Lab’s “Pretty Gose,” Young Master’s “Cha Chaan Teng Sour,” and Amami Brewery’s “Salty Shikuwasa Sour Ale.” All of them form a lineup designed around lightness, acidity, saltiness, and citrus character that make them appealing on hot days.
“Super Spruce” is described as a dry-hopped gose, with hop-derived citrus and pine aromas. “Pretty Gose” is a beer that combines the refreshing feel of lemon and herbs with the color of dragon fruit. “Cha Chaan Teng Sour” is a gose made with pickled lime, making its sharper acidity easy to imagine.
Meanwhile, “Salty Shikuwasa Sour Ale” is a sour ale that uses whole shikuwasa citrus from Tokunoshima, Kagoshima Prefecture, together with Amami salt. Although it is not a gose, the post includes it alongside the others as a candidate for hot days. Its character comes through in how it balances saltiness and acidity, and even within the same “refreshing” category, there is fun in comparing them side by side.
Business hours are 14:00 to 23:00 (L.O. 22:00). It is a post worth checking when looking for beer that suits a hot day in Kitasenju.
