Kitazawa Konishi, a craft-beer and hard-cider specialist in Shimokitazawa, has brought in Minoh Beer’s seasonal release, Kokusan Momo Weizen.

The post highlights a beer made with Arakawa peaches from Hachiki Farm in Wakayama Prefecture. It is introduced as the first batch, “Wase,” and is described as combining the banana- and clove-like aroma typical of weizen yeast with a fresh peach character. The beer is said to finish dry and crisp, keeping the sweetness restrained.

Kokusan Momo Weizen is one of Minoh Beer’s best-known summer seasonals, and its appeal lies in how the peach profile changes with each variety used. This first release offers a softer, fruit-forward expression while still keeping the rounded mouthfeel that comes from wheat malt and the weizen style.

Kitazawa Konishi carries more than 200 craft beers and hard ciders from Japan and abroad. As a beer pub with kakuuchi-style drinking, it lets customers open a bottle or can and enjoy it on the spot, making it a good stop for anyone looking to try a limited guest beer in a casual setting.
