Announcing the limited IPA "Shin Asaki Oni IPA"

Noboribetsu Jibeer Oni Densetsu, based in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, introduced a new limited beer, "Shin Asaki Oni IPA", on Instagram. In the post, it is presented as a Beer House TONOTO collaboration beer, with specs of ABV 7.5% and IBU 65. The style is a West Coast IPA in true Oni Densetsu fashion.

A beer whose hop design has been reworked

According to the post, this beer is a new release based on the "Asaki Oni IPA" from two years ago, with the hop composition changed. This time, it uses KRUSH (HBC586), Citra, Strata, and Simcoe, creating a design that brings out citrusy tropical aromas along with notes reminiscent of peach and grape. It is said to have firm bitterness while keeping balance and being crafted with drinkability in mind.

Robust character and easy drinkability in the Oni Densetsu style

Noboribetsu Jibeer Oni Densetsu is a brewery based in Naka-Noboribetsu-cho, Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, and it also presents its own beers through its official online shop. In this post as well, it notes that orders can be placed via SNS posts, messages, or email, so beyond enjoying a pint on site, there may also be a way to follow it from afar.

For those who enjoy chasing limited IPAs, "Shin Asaki Oni IPA", with its altered hop build, is a beer worth watching. Anyone familiar with the earlier "Asaki Oni IPA" will likely want to compare how the impressions of aroma and bitterness have changed.
