Six kegs tapped at Grau Craft beer bar: CRANC×Grau, NARA, and Oni Densetsu arrive
The tap list has been updated at Grau Craft beer bar in Fujimino, Saitama Prefecture, with six beers on tap: CRANC×Grau, NAMACHAん×Grau, Oni Densetsu, BREWCCOLY, Kanpai!×MATSUMOTO, and NARA. Coming up next are CAMADO and BLACK TIDE.
The tap list for the beer pub Grau Craft beer bar, located in Nima, Fujimino City, Saitama Prefecture, was posted on Instagram. This round of taps features six beers: CRANC × Grau's "99.9 ver.2," NAMACHAん × Grau's "Re:NAMAGrauzy," Oni Densetsu's "Kinoni Pale Ale Krush Single Ver.," BREWCCOLY's "CROSS," Kanpai! × MATSUMOTO's "Gekizaka Dark Mild Ale," and NARA's "UNDERWATER:LUMINOUS." It is a well-balanced lineup of collaboration brews, regular offerings, and more unconventional styles.
What stands out in particular are the two collaboration beers with Grau. "99.9 ver.2" with CRANC is a Double IPA, while "Re:NAMAGrauzy" with NAMACHAん is a Hazy IPA, making both beers aimed at drinkers who want to enjoy hop aroma. Meanwhile, Oni Densetsu's "Kinoni Pale Ale Krush Single Ver." is marked as "almost gone," so anyone interested will want to check it out soon.
The range of styles is broad as well. BREWCCOLY's "CROSS" is a Munich saison, Kanpai! × MATSUMOTO's "Gekizaka Dark Mild Ale" is, as the name suggests, in the dark mild vein, and NARA's "UNDERWATER:LUMINOUS" is a sake yeast beer. From aroma-driven pours like IPA to beers that let you enjoy malt depth and yeast-derived character, the appeal of this lineup is that you can choose based on your mood.
The brewer's note also introduces the background behind Kanpai!'s first Dark Mild Ale. It appears to have been crafted in collaboration with Matsumoto Brewery as a beer that emphasizes the calm bitterness and malt sweetness typical of British styles. It is very much in keeping with Grau Craft beer bar that a lineup does not lean only toward flash and spectacle, but also includes beers meant to be savored slowly.
As for the next kegs, CAMADO's "THE DANK LOVERS" and BLACK TIDE's "Days Over ver.9.0" are also being announced. In addition to business hours from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., this week's fried chicken is listed as salt and spicy, making it easy to imagine a dish to pair with the beer. Since this is a shop with rapid tap turnover, it is worth visiting without missing the timing when your favorite style comes in.
