Okhotsk Beer Factory in Kitami, Hokkaido, has announced that it will participate in Hokkaido Marugoto Fair in Sunshine City 2026, held at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, from October 8 through 12, 2026.

Around 65 vendors from across Hokkaido are scheduled to gather at Exhibition Hall A. Visitors will be able to find seafood, agricultural products, sweets, and other regional specialties, while many vendors will prepare food on site. The event will also feature a tasting project organized by the Hokkaido Sake Brewers Association, offering a chance to sample sake from the region.

The event runs from 11:00 to 21:00 on October 8 and 9, from 10:00 to 20:00 on October 10 and 11, and from 10:00 to 18:00 on October 12. Merchandise booths will operate until 18:00 each day. Admission is free, although the program and opening hours may be subject to change.

Okhotsk Beer Factory is a brewery and beer restaurant in Kitami, Hokkaido, which opened in 1995. The brewery is known for obtaining one of Japan’s earliest craft beer brewing licenses in 1994 and for producing all-malt beers based on traditional German brewing techniques.

Its regular lineup includes an aromatic and full-bodied ale, a crisp pilsner, a smooth wheat beer, and a mild stout with roasted notes. At its Kitami facility, the brewery also serves an unfiltered version of its ale, allowing drinkers to experience a softer texture and yeast-driven character.
