Bar FUKURO, a beer pub in Kamata, Tokyo, has put four new TIELS Brewing beers on tap. The brewery is based in Mishima, Shizuoka, and the post introduces the lineup under the heading "New Tap Beer!!".
The four beers are:
- American Pale Ale
- Harumi Saison
- Tekika Jutaro Hazy IPA
- Imperial Stout
The American Pale Ale focuses on bright citrus-hop aroma and a balanced malt backbone. The carbonation is kept on the softer side, so the hop character and malt flavor can be picked up gradually as you drink.
Harumi Saison is a fruit saison made with Harumi, a citrus variety born from Dekopon and Kiyomi orange. Its soft, orange-like aroma is paired with wheat malt and saison yeast, making it a refreshing beer with some depth.
Tekika Jutaro Hazy IPA uses Numazu's local Jutaro mikan in generous amounts. It brings together the fresh, early-picked citrus character with hop harmony, giving the beer a vivid fruit expression.
Imperial Stout is the dark, slow-sipping option in the set. It highlights roasted malt character, layered malt sweetness, and a floral finish, with the kind of depth that rewards a more relaxed pace.
Bar FUKURO continues to serve as an approachable craft-beer stop in Kamata, where tap changes are part of the appeal. On June 5, the bar is also scheduled to host a half tap takeover, "fumika birthday half TTO w/ TIELS Brewing," from 6:00 p.m. to midnight in its usual service style. The post also notes a Black Tide Brewing TTO planned for June 19 and 20, suggesting more tap changes are on the way.
