Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand updates 10 taps, including Kohatu Pale Ale
Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand announced 10 beers on tap along with its service notice for Saturday, April 18. In addition to a wide lineup that includes Kohatu Pale Ale, DH Red Ale, and a collaboration with Sanriku Beer, it is also planning an event service on the following day, the 19th.
Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand (Komagome, Tokyo) published its service notice for Saturday, April 18. Hours are from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and it is closed on Wednesdays. As befits a taproom attached to a brewery, the focus is on enjoying house-brewed craft beer, and the food during regular service is mostly light snacks such as Kaki-Pi and dagashi.
The tap list for the day featured 10 beers, including `Kohatu Pale Ale`, `DH Red Ale`, and `Sauvin Belgo Brut`. The lineup ranged from light and easy-drinking to more substantial offerings, including `Kohatu Pale Ale`, which tends to show the character of New Zealand hops, `DH Red Ale`, which was announced as down to its last keg, and saison-leaning beers such as `Ryusui Soso` and `Yunosu Saison`. It also included house staples like `Komagome Brown`, `Komagome Best Bitter`, and `Kurotobi #4`, making it a lineup that showcases the breadth of the brewpub's own brewing.
In the collaboration section, `Black IPA a.k.a Kuro Hitsuji no Ale` and `Belgian Hazy IPA a.k.a Shiro Hitsuji no Ale` with Sanriku Beer were on tap. By lining up a Black IPA and a Belgian Hazy IPA at the same time, the setup lets drinkers compare two different directions within the same collaboration.
The post also announced that a POP-UP for "Beer and Records" will be held the next day, Sunday, April 19, from 5:00 p.m. With beer enjoyed against a backdrop of DJ and record music, it looks like a good match for the taproom's calm atmosphere. If you're looking for a house-brewed pint in Komagome, this lineup is one to check out.
