The beer tapped simultaneously on June 1 at CRAFT BEER BAR IBREW Ebisu Ekimae was the original beer "Cherry Cheers." Its style is Belgian Wit w/ Cherry, with 5% ABV. It is presented as a refreshing Belgian white layered with the sweet-and-tart character of cherries, making it an easy-to-approach choice even for craft beer beginners.

The brew was handled by Outsider Brewing. According to IBREW's announcement, Sonoka, the female manager of the Shimbashi branch, also took part in the brewing process. By revealing the name and style on the milestone of June 1 and tapping it at all locations at the same time, the beer clearly carries the character of a limited-edition release.

Drinking in Ebisu

The shop is located at STM Ebisu Building B2, 1-8-1 Ebisu Minami, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Open daily from 13:00 to 23:00, it is a beer pub that's easy to stop by from the station. As with other IBREW locations, the appeal lies in the rotating guest beers and limited kegs that change the tap lineup each time you visit. From a casual pint to a full tasting flight, it offers a broad way to enjoy craft beer.

It also offers a girls' night course for 3,000 yen for 2 hours, with all-you-can-drink access to 30 to 47 craft beers, making it possible to compare different brews. Starting with a fruit-forward limited beer like Cherry Cheers, it's a great fit for exploring differences in aroma and style. If you're tracking new releases in Ebisu, this is one place worth checking on opening day.
