Six beers spanning a wide range of styles
Craft beer pub Potluck_cbb in Shiba, Tokyo, has announced a new lineup from Far Yeast Brewing. The six beers cover a broad spectrum of styles, from hop-driven IPAs to fruit-infused beers, a sour ale, and a rice ale.
The first beer is Hop Frontier, a 6.5% Juicy IPA expected to offer expressive hop aroma and a soft, juicy profile. Trigger Chapter 5. is also 6.5%, but takes a different direction as a West Coast IPA, emphasizing a cleaner finish and more defined bitterness.
For fruit-focused options, Peach Haze is a 5.5% Fruited Hazy Pale Ale. Its peach character is paired with the soft, hazy texture associated with the style. At 4.5%, Sumomo Salty Sour is a Fruited Gose made with Japanese plum. Its fruit acidity is complemented by the subtle salinity typical of a gose.
The lineup also includes Onegai Si Muscut, a 6.5% Brut IPA brewed with muscat. Its dry profile should provide a contrasting base for the grape-like fruit aroma. Finally, もりともり is a 6.5% Rice Ale, offering another distinct direction within the selection.
