Three new taps at Beer O'clock

Beer O'clock, a beer pub in Chiba’s Chuo Ward, has introduced three beers on its New TAP list: Passific’s Himmel, NAMACHAん’s Namachan’s Oktoberfest, and YOROCCO BEER’s Hometown Stout. On Sundays, the pub serves continuously from 12:00 to 22:00, making it suitable for an early start to a beer-focused outing.

Passific’s Himmel is a 4.5% Helles with gentle malt flavor, a lightly sweet malt aroma, and a comfortable bitterness. Its restrained hop character supports a crisp, balanced palate, while repeated sips bring out a soft, bread-like quality without becoming heavy.

At 5.5%, NAMACHAん’s Namachan’s Oktoberfest is a Märzen inspired by Germany’s autumn beer festival tradition. It combines rich malt sweetness with gentle bitterness from noble hops. Beer O'clock notes that the beer is especially fitting for a traditional Maß mug when available.

YOROCCO BEER’s Hometown Stout is a 4.5% Dry Stout designed to be easy to keep drinking. Roasted barley provides aroma and depth, while the fuller malt character remains dry enough to avoid excessive sweetness. It is a natural choice for guests looking for a darker, slower-paced pour.

The food pairing featured in the post is German-style potato, made with fluffy potatoes from Samba Farm, bacon from Meister Togane-ya, and house-made garlic butter. The dish highlights the sweetness of the potatoes and the savory flavor of the bacon, offering a straightforward match for the pub’s beer selection.

Located in Chiba City’s Fujimi district, Beer O'clock combines a broad tap selection with a relaxed pub setting. These three new pours give visitors a chance to compare a crisp Helles, a malt-forward Märzen, and a roasty Dry Stout in one visit.
