Collaboration Beer from 4 Breweries

Swan Lake Pub Edo Shibuya Yoyogi-Uehara Cafe de Tete announced the collaboration beer "Album" on Instagram. In the post, it is introduced as a collaboration beer by female brewers from four companies: Swan Lake Beer (Niigata), Yanerado (Kyoto), HEIWA CRAFT (Wakayama), and karuizawa Q (Nagano).

A Beer That Shows Its Specs

"Album" is an ALT style, and the post adds that the word means "old" in German. The specs are Alc. 5% and IBU 33. The malts are Pils, ISARIA1924, CARRAMBER, MUNICH Type2, and CARAFA Type2, all made by Germany's Weyermann. The hops used are Hallertauer Mittelfrueh and Spalter Select, making the design intent easy to read.

Why It's Worth Trying at the Shop

The shop is a beer pub in Oyama-cho, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, in a convenient location from the Yoyogi-Uehara area. Since the store puts craft beer at the center, one attraction is being able to enjoy not only such collaboration beers but also the background and recipe behind them. "Album," which brings together the individuality of multiple breweries, is a beer that lets you enjoy both tasting with an eye on the specs and the serendipity of encountering it in a shop.
