The brewpub "orca Ginza Brewery" in Ginza, Chuo Ward, Tokyo, announced a new draft beer: the DH Hazy IPA "Mission Impossible." In its post, the brewery explained that it highlights the tropical, fruity character of Mosaic hops and further amplifies the aroma by adding dry hopping again near the end of fermentation.
orca has been brewing beer since December 2015 as a Ginza brewpub with an on-site brewery. On its official website, the brewery says it serves its own unfiltered, unpasteurized beer and also develops a wide range of seasonal flavors throughout the year. This new release is another beer that clearly reflects that "brewed in Ginza" approach.
The post described the beer as "very bitter," while also saying that brewing it in Ginza helped bring the balance together. Its design, which combines a bold aroma with a firm bitterness, will likely catch the attention of hazy IPA fans. On the same day, the tap list also featured items such as `Origin`, `Ginza IPA`, `Weizen`, and `Burdock Stout`, making it easy to compare classics and new releases side by side.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 16:00 to 23:00, Saturday and national holidays from 14:00 to 22:00, and Sunday from 13:00 to 21:00. It is a beer well suited to anyone who wants to try the new release with a meal in Ginza.
